CNC-AC is building healthier communities in Connecticut through a strong, diverse nursing workforce by:


1. Establishing a data management system
to ensure Connecticut has enough practicing nurses to respond to changing healthcare needs in the state.

2. Facilitating the revision of nursing education
to reflect priorities around population health, wellness, disease prevention, treatment, coordination of care, and collaboration.

3. Building nursing leadership capacity
to respond to health care needs from bedside to community to boardroom and to inform healthcare policy.

4. Building a broadly diverse nursing workforce
to serve the cultural and ethnic needs of our communities.
