Gateway Community College, Southern Connecticut State University and Yale New Haven Hospital collaborated on an education-practice gap analysis. Using the outcomes of the analysis, these partners collaborated on an innovative RN-BSN pilot model using the framework of the Nurse of the Future Competency Model.
The first cohort for this model will begin in fall 2014. The model includes requirements to recruit a minimum of 15% of nurses from diverse backgrounds. Click here for details about the gap analysis and education progression model.



  • RN-MSN Model

Three Rivers Community College, University of Connecticut, Lawrence & Memorial Hospital and W.W. Backus Hospital collaborated on an education-practice gap analysis.
